They catered my friends birthday party at her home and we all loved it. We had the option of tacos with chicken, al pastor, or barbacoa. The barbacoa tacos were dipped in a consome type sauce them fried on the grill with extra cheese. They also made cheese and mixed (cheese, beans, and chicharon) pupusas to order. Friendly service. Full salsa bar, unli chips, rice and beans were also included. Would cater from them myself!
Ordered catering for a birthday party and they were awesome! Brought lots of food, all my guests were satisfied with the tacos and pupusas. Juan and Ismael are great hosts w top tier service. Definitely recommend this place for dine in or catering
The chicken here is delicious but I had no idea how good their tacos and burritos are. Their pupusas are also good and they are free with purchase. Last, the portions are really big. We ate in it for 2 days!
Unbelievably delicious! The chicken was so well seasoned, smoky, tender and juicy. Salsas are great and the homemade corn tortillas put this place over the top! I don't live in the area but I'd make the trip just to eat their food again. Friendly customer service and extremely hospitable. Thank you for a delicious memory.
This is my updated review! Went here on Sunday wife got chicken combo and I got enchilada combo! ! Their salsa and chips were ok but I've had way better salsa from other places! There fruit drinks are awesome! Their pupusa was really good! The best thing about this place is great portions!
So bomb! Got the 8 piece family deal and it was seriously some of the best grilled chicken I've had in a while. Super flavorful, you can definitely taste the charcoal haha. The sides were good too, the tortillas are hand made. Home made salsa had the perfect amount of spice. You get a lot of food for $35!!! Definitely worth it! Got takeout and they seemed to be friendly over the phone, it was hard to hear because of background noise and it was a 30 minute wait for food. They get busy! The location is right next to a liquor store which is nice because they do not have fountain drinks at this food place! Only cans or aguas frescas. Parking lot is super small and can get packed cause of Taco Bell which is right next to it. I wouldn't say this is a sit down restaurant definitely more takeout friendly. Overall I really liked it and I can't wait to try more food!
This is a fantastic food establishment! We ate here for the first time on July 1st 2024 and my wife and I were amazed at the quality of the food and drinks (agua frescas). If you are in the mood for great quality Mexican food or thirst for some horchata or Jamaica (hibiscus), stop by here and satisfy your needs! Karmen was also a great employee with a smile of joy. OK, you've read and heard it before....... What took me so long to try this place! Charcoal Grill Chicken is certainly a hidden gem for this area, it's sort of hidden off Soledad next to Taco Bell. So, believe the great reviews, not only is the food wonderful but so is the customer service, you can tell it's run by a close-knit group of people. We tried the pupusas, amazing baked chicken, barria tacos and their to die for rice and beans. Everything was excellent and reasonably priced. I ordered the #2 and I could barely finish it all, I gave my friend the third piece of chicken. They are limited on drinks and it is not good for big crowds but there are five or six four person tables. My mouth is watering while I'm writing this review, I can't wait to go back with other foodie friends.
One of the best kept secrets of Santa Clarita . After discovering this place early during the pandemic ( when I was trapped at my mother's because of lockdown) .. I've been back several times . It took a little while to perfect my order after trying various taco combinations but I highly recommend getting two of their chicken tacos and two of their crispy barbacoa ! Their chicken tacos are very smoky and herbaceous and their barbacoa is very hearty and super satisfying and creamy with the addition of cheese which I recommend. They mention on the menu and I agree that their barbacoa is very similar to Birria ( el primo aka the cousin of Birria ) ( without the consomé) . It's super fabulous especially with their super spicy house made salsa and avocado salsa . Ask for a fork and knife . Reheating in the microwave at home is definitely a must and it WiLL get messy . Highly recommend!
